SCG implemented the resettlement of more than 1,500 families residing in the old city of Morococha, to facilitate the development of Toromocho, one of the largest copper mines in Peru.

We work family by family to consult the location, the design of the houses and the infrastructure for public use and services of the new city (education, health, security, culture, churches, municipality, sports grounds, parks and gardens).

Effective and Permanent Dialogue

SCG advises Minera Chinalco in the Dialogue Table for the Resettlement of the city of Morococha and in the negotiation process of the Framework Agreement for the useful life of the mine. These spaces have made it possible to prevent and channel potential conflicts.
